Described as long-bearded and mighty tall, the forest spirit can be invoked when performing the following tasks: on a midnight before a holy day must one cut a piece of wood from three different leafy trees and use them to make a fire near three stones. At the break of dawn the spirit appears and can be talked to – but only after the spirit has spoken first.
